I have had some good ones at fair's but other then that it's Mrs T's! Prune or or cabbage don't sound to appealing to me.

Thanks, I keep a stock of pierogies that I usally eat as snacks there so quick and easy I want to try them deep fried sometime.

Never a fan of the prune ones. The cabbage ones basically taste like cabbage and noodles (Haluski)...which I was fed so much of as a kid that I can't even bother to look eat another bite! Blah!!

Deep fried are good! Lately, I've been brushing both sides of them with EVOO and sprinkling with old bay seasoning and baking them in the oven. Figured I'd try to eat healthier by not drowning them with butter and onion! And they're easier that way and sometimes I'm just lazy!!! Lol

Deep fried are definitely good. I usually boil mine then throw them in a pan with either butter or a little olive oil and brown them up. Then take em out and let butter melt all over the top. I love me some potatoe pierogis and any kind of meat. Here in Chicago we're spoiled as there's Polish people galore (myself included) so we've got ample selection, premade I prefer Alexandria's - made fresh and packaged daily. Have some cherry pierogis with sugar in top for dessert!

I'm from along line of Ski's but we never had pierogies. Never heard of them as dessert either but they could be tasty!
