Pork Butt & Ribs

I'm going to be Smoking a 7# pork butt and a few racks of ribs , I have a vertical propane smoker, should I do the ribs above the butt or below the butt?

I would do the ribs below the butt...let the fat from the Butt drip all over them ribs and add flavor! Ribs will probably cook much faster than the butt though, so if you want them done at the same time I would start the butt 2-3 hours before the ribs.

Post some pics when they're done!

IMO with these two, it doesn't really matter. Each will flavor the other. Where I am particular is with chicken or fish. Those are flavors that don't mix well with other meats or with each other. Good luck, Joe
