Is MES 30" wide enough for racks of ribs?

Looking to get into smoking meat as a new hobby.  Thinking about going the MES/AMNPS route, looking at the 30" Gen 1 model without a window, mainly because of budget.  It seems to be a good machine, especially for beginners.  Am concerned whether or not it fits a whole rack of ribs.  The Costco rib packs are so big that the ends are folded over so it fits onto the styrofoam trays, and I'm pretty sure this wouldn't fit lengthwise into a 30" smoker.  Do you cut the ribs in half and slide in the other direction, 1 rack per metal tray? I know going with the wider 40" model would help with this, but that's also a pretty big step up on the initial investment.  Thanks for any tips.

In general...No. There is no shame in cutting racks in half. You can lay them on the racks or find yourself some Rib Racks that will fit. One of the 30" owners should be able to help here. Rib racks will allow you to put 2-3 racks per shelf...JJ

I just did a rack in my MES last night. It barely fit. Usually I cut the rack in half especially when I do more than one. Still tastes great.
