I am from Kansas City, MO - home if the best BBQ and my KC Royals. I am an avid griller (a Weber Charcoal guy), but relatively new to smoking. Got my first offset smoker for father's day last summer. I have done several minor mods to my smoker to improve heat consistency, which has worked well for a inexpensive first Char-Broil offset.
I have smoked ribs, chickens, Thanksgiving Turkey, and a couple brisket. I always read the recommendations on this site before firing up the smoker.
