Decided to do two smaller picnic shoulders and make some sauce this weekend. Got my brand new tube smoker and wanted to see what would happen if I used both the AMNPS and the tube smoker together to get more smoke. I had some temp issues in my MES30, couldn't quite get up to where I wanted it but I got a few hours of smoke on them and finished them off in my gas grill. A good dose of smoke and great flavor. I chopped it instead of pulling it as I got lazy and was in a hurry to get it to where I was going. It was still a hit.

Also, I tried the bbq sauce recipe from the booklet that came with my tube smoker, I added a little extra heat but it was otherwise fantastic. Smoked with a combo of pitmaster's choice and hickory.

Here are some pics, playing with my new close up lens.
