Hey all, been a while since I could smoke with being on call with work ! 12 days without TBS should be illegal ! Anyway, ordered a tumbler from Todd so figured I'd give er a go ! My better half picked up some chicken breasts on sale & some Famous Daves Chicken Marinade. I do have to say this tumbler is bigger than I thought it would be & is kind of a cool addition to the Q accessories ! Anyway, here we go....

Breasts in the tumbler canister & tossed in the marinade !

After vacuuming the air out, the tumbler doing its thing for 20 min.

Outta the tumbler, these absorbed almost the whole bottle of marinade ! Thumbs Up Ready for the mini !

On the mini with some KBB & a few leftover Kiawe chunks from the last smoke !

Just off the mini !

Plated with some fresh picked asparagus & garden salad with blue cheese dressing ! The chicken was real good with the marinade, the fam liked it a bunch !

Thanks for lookin all !

Good lookin chix, good to see that tumbler has a nice capacity seems like a interesting addition!

Looks great Justin! I expect that cooker to get a little dirtier, still looking too clean inside! Haha

So you glad you finally made a mini? I haven't used mine in a while, the poor thing is getting dusty. Got too many cookers and it's hard keeping them all happy!

Thanks Keith, trying to get it dirty, it's being stubborned though... The mini has been a nice addition, I've enjoyed it so far. Most fun was building it with my kiddos, really enjoyed that ! Sounds like ya need to get your mini fired up soon !

Hey , Justin . That looks Fabulous . The tumbler seemed to work well . That would be a great addition to my collection.  do a lot of Fajitas in the summer ,and

that would shorten my time from the 24 I usually leave them in for , and the stirring from time to time is sometimes forgotten and some don't get as much flavor .

Congrats on a great new toy.

Have fun and . . .

Thanks for the kind words Stan, they were quite tasty ! Though I've only used the tumbler once for this smoke, I don't regret the purchase especially with the price Todd has on them right now ! I do think you'd enjoy it ! Appreciate ya dropping a line !

Hey Justin! That chicken looks delicious, my friend...Mighty pretty plate of food! Nicely done Brother! Thumbs Up
And that Tumbler looks like a real cool toy...might have to check that out a little more closely.

Justin. Every time I smoke a skinless chicken breast I end up getting a hard layer all around it. Doesn't look like you had that problem. Nice job. Looks more than excellent! I'm still trying to perfect boneless skinless breasts.

Great looking chicken! I've always been afraid of smoking boneless skinless-worried it would dry out. You sure got a good bit of marinade into it with that tumbler! Looks nice and juicy! Great job Justin, and thanks for sharing, David.

And you're right, being on call does put a cramp on your smoking time. I'm on this weekend, but I'm gonna roll the dice and do a small brisket and a rack of baby backs tomorrow! Hopefully I don't  get called in, the wife might get a 5 minute crash course in smoking! LOL

Thanks for the kind words Red, much appreciated ! The tumbler is kinda neat & makes marinading a snap. Real easy to clean too !

Hey Bryce, thanks for the kind words. The marinade helps to retain the moisture & I do these at a lower temp than the other chicken I cook until the end, then I give me a quick sear ! Thanks for dropping a line !

On call just sucks, no way to sugar coat it.... Hope ya didn't get called out during your smoke !

Looks like some good eating Justin!
