Building an enclosure for an MES 40 ?

I'm looking into some options including a plastic horizontal shed ($120) & a plastic vertical shed ($300).  What would be great is if I could close the enclosure up and smoke through a rain storm (I have no back porch and an umbrella can only do so much in a New England noreaster).  I cant close it up using plastics overnight (not sure I could sleep at night haha). 

If I where to build an enclosure for my MES 40, what would be the best and cheapest wood to use?  I can paint it with a deck stain or regular paint to protect the cheap wood and make it look a bit more attractive (i.e. it doesnt have to be cedar etc).  

What woods should I look at and what do you guys think the ballpark cost figure would be (wood, door, chimney, ducts etc).  Thanks guys.

No no thats an example pic I found.  I dont know where to start.  Just want to do some preliminary research.

If it is going to live outside, you are going to want to use pressure treated wood, or cedar.

Good to know, thanks.  Yeah I looked at the 2 in. x 4 in. x 8 ft. #1 Southern Pine Pressure-Treated Lumber at Home Depot ($3.77).  It would probably cost then $300 to build, let alone the time invested/mistakes that need to be redone because I've never done something like this before.  I'll keep it in mind but I want to see if those plastic sheds can work first.  Thanks.
