Dirtsailor' did a thread on how to make them from scratch (look in his index for it).

I've made them and stuffed them with smoked char siu for my own version of manapuas...

When I went to my brothers wedding in LA there's a King bakery by his house with a huge sign saying "Hawaiian bread," I had to ask my brother what Hawaiian bread was???

I owe neighbors a pulled pork dinner for a big favor they did for us recently. Will add the Portuguese bread rolls!
