Just wanted to say "hey" since I'm new to the forums. I am also "sorta new" to the whole smoking thing. I've had a cheap Menards Side Offset Smoker for a few years now, and it works pretty well for me after I made some mods I have seen here. :) Thanks for those by the way.
I haven't gotten too crazy with the meat - I've done a whole chicken, a turkey, chicken breasts, baby back ribs, spiral cut ham, burgers, etc. My most recent smoke was an 8lb pork loin. Because my smoker is a COS, it took a lot of my time making sure the temps stayed right, but I like futzing so it's all good.
I'm thinking about getting a Green Mountain smoker for Father's Day. We'll see how that goes. :)
