pig snout

Any idea on what can be substituted for pig snout in sausage making?

I would say jowl if can get it. Ask your butcher for some pork cheeks or an ethnic market if u have any.

I've never used it...but my guess would be pork skin would deliver a similar texture...otherwise jowl would give you the fat and texture, if you can get it.
