Good Morning!  I am so excited to find this group.  I gave my husband an electric masterbuilt smoker for his birthday.  We are having a lot of fun learning how to use it.  It has turned into a family event the past few weekends, which we are really enjoying.  We are from Central Illinois and have four children, 5 grandchildren and 2 dogs.  Cora is our  older English Setter and that is where my username originated from.  Noah is our puppy.  We are blessed to have 3 of our kids and 2 grandbabies living close to home.  I typically am the one who does the preparation for cooking and my hubby mans the grill and smoker.  We are both so excited to see what everyone else is making and learn all your "tricks" and skills.  Thanks for the join!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Welcome to the board! You'll have a blast exploring around. Use the Search to look up your smoker and see how people use them. People here are eager to help out, no guarded secrets here.

Welcome, I'm sure you will enjoy this site. Everyone is always eager to share ideas, tips, recipes, etc. all you need to do is ask. You will find everyone to be very nice and friendly. Great to have you. Good luck and good smoking, Joe

Welcome to SMF coradog!  There are so many great recipes and techniques on the board, especially for your MES.  If you can't find something with the search feature, just start a thread and ask your question.  You'll get tons of answers.  Keep it simple and enjoy the new backyard man-keeper.

Have fun!
