It's reverse sear time!

Found a couple Tri tips for $7.99 # so it's beef for dinner!
Smoking with 6 coals and a chunk of cherry on the WSM then off to the Weber Genesis for the sear! Chopped up some mushrooms and onions and the wife is on sides.

Looks great. Tri tip is one of my favorites. Huge on west coast and completely underrated in the Midwest. Good luck and enjoy

I agree, my three faves are Ny strip, Tri tip and Flank. I never use to find these around here but now a grocery store I didn't usally frequent, until now, is carrying them!! I'm going to fire up another this weekend maybe!

Looks fantastic! Nothing better with beef than onions and shrooms! Great job, thanks for posting, David.

Thx D, thinking a nice sammie is in order with the leftovers before I cook the second up for Sunday dinner if SWMBO doesn't have plans.

Oooo , that does look good . I haven't done one . Stores just started to carry them here and with the price of them , seems I'll not be doing one for a while yet :frown:

I agree , a good hunk of Beef is complimented with a side of Onions and Mushrooms .  And the best Steaks for me are Clubs , NY cut and I can't pass up a Prime

Rib . Pile on the M&Os and a big side of Potatoes of some kind. I tend to like Oven Roasted Baby Red taters with Rosemary .

Show the  plated shot for sure . . .

Have fun and . . .
