Craigslist is a terrible place to lurk. Just picked up this today.

$100 used twice. Looks like it wasn't used at all! Hope the wife doesn't see it anytime soon!

Smoke away!!!

Congrats!! I'm looking for a 22.5 on there all the time:biggrin: I called a guy on a 18.5 before I bought mine but he never called back so I had to go new. Now I'm going to CL.

This is the first WSM I have found on ours. It was listed for $135 firm. When I got there the lady said $100 so I said great. Then she loaded me up with the chips, and the book and right when I was about to leave the cover. Gotta love CL!

Nice score Case, bought mine on CL four years ago for $130.... CL can be awesome ! Sometimes too awesome !

Great find !

:beercheer:

No luck for me. I've been thinking about cutting one of my racks to put a packer on without trimming it's my only real size issue.

Yes just hang a little of the flat down is what I'm thinking, then as it shrinks up it should fit on the rack properly.
I have seen a rack that is made so you can take the top grate out and hang ribs and stuff vertical. It fits just under the lid. I think I saw it on amazon or somewhere. It looked pretty neat. I would sure hate to go cutting on my nice weber racks.

It's a 18.

Why not hook the brisket and hang it like bacon. I usually seperate the point from the flat when I do brisket. I usually turn the point into Burnt ends having it seperate makes it easy to pull and cut up.

Might be hard to sleep in the 18.5! It's a tight fit for me in the 22.5...

That's a great smoker at a GREAT price!!! I'd buy it for that.

Did you ever get rid of the traeger?

Guess we better move to Hawaii where it's warm enough to sleep next to the smoker!

Yep sold the Traeger and bought a canoe!

Needed a boat we could throw on top of the rig and beat up, unlike our wood and skin on frame boats.

Never thought about hanging it I've always cooked them whole minus the slight trim. I'm a little Leary of hanging meat also I had looked at a PBC before I got my WSM id hate for my meat to fall.

Im already on my second set of racks, the first were stolen with my waterbowl, they aren't to pricey. But I'm lazy so it will probably never happen any ways.Thumbs Up

I texted your wife my address in case she wants to find a new home for that smoker......Just sayin'

Wow, Looks brand new    Great find
