Thanks for the info.   I just checked my local stores and they have the same sale price.  Normally that would run $20 around here.

I'll stock up for sure.

That's even better.

Dang if I didn't get 7.99 last year about this time. I wonder if it has bottomed out at that HD price? I like to stock up when I think it has hit rock bottom.

If the past has shown anything the price will bottom out Memorial Weekend and 4th of July time frames.  The last 2 years it s 2x20lbs for $9-$10 (depending on where you live).

+1 to that. It seems to happen every year through Home Depot and or Lowe's.

FYI, anyone looking for wood chips or chunks Home Depot is clearing out the "charbroil" brand bags right now. It's between $1 and $2 for the small bags and around $5 for the big bags. I saw Hickory, Mesquite, Cherry and Apple at my local HD.

Damn Mini-WSM doesn't burn enough fuel for me to do the mega stock up anymore. With the way the sales work, I can get a few bags each time and then the last one for Labor Day get enough for winter! On my last bag right now so I'll grab a few from HD!

Wish our HD had the good prices on the Smoke wood. They are clearing it out too, but only a few bucks off normal pricing.

I am with Case. I have 90 lb left from last year.

I have to check on the smoke wood thou.

Generally it is 2x18.8lbs bags during the year and then around Memorial Day - Labor day 2x20lbs shows up.

In my area last year HD was 2x20 for $9.99 and Lowe's was 2x18.8 for $8.99

Just picked up 2 bags, Will be playing with my mini again today, going to learn how much charcoal to use.

The best method is to fill your charcoal basket. When the smoke is done close everything up and snuff the fire. Next smoke shake the ash from the basket dump the ash from the base. Add new charcoal to the old and smoke again. Hands down the most efficient method to use with the Mini-WSM. Try this and the side light method, you won't be disappointed.

I'll stick with the 40 pound bag of Mesquite chunk charcoal from Cash & Carry, regular price is $14.50 or so...and I don't have to deal with mountains of ash...

Thanks for the heads up. Had to dig deep but found several nice bags of chunk pecan which I can't get in my area. $2.33 a bag , down from $8.97, is a sweet find. Thanks again.
