New guy - wood pellet selection for a Boston butt (and meat in general)

Hi, I posted in length about my new project:

http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/184706/new-guy-first-smoker-any-recommendations/60#post_1346638

I'm probably going to get Todd's pellets and was curious to hear what you guys thought would be best for a Boston butt?

I would also like to cook other meats (beef etc) so hopefully I can use the same chips, or would it be best to get a different flavor?

Thanks guys.

Pork loves fruit woods along with a bit of pecan or hickory. Beef loves the stronger woods like hickory and mesquite. Personally, I'll use Pecan on everything and be happy.

I'd get a few different kinds and find something you like.

Great, thanks.  What about fish?

What do you guys think about the Amazen Pitmasters Choice Pellets for pork, beef and poultry?  I'm all set on pecan for fish thanks to Leah.
