Details? I'm thinking about smoking an 11lb turkey I have in the freezer shortly... Leave whole or spatchcock? I see you left your whole, what size was it? Temp? Rub, inject?

19.5# got them cheap after thanksgiving so I didn't care about weight. Decided on Friday to cook Sunday so no time for brine and wasn't sure about injecting one that big. So just put butter and spices under skin and threw her on. Took about 6hrs was pas 140 in 3hrs ran smoker a little hotter than I like around 300 also heated up 11# ham and the beans with it.

I know it's a huge sacrifice but you could always rob some out of the remote control's in the house if you get in a jam. Been there done that.
