Came out so good. Started with a cheap precooked ham.
Coated with a combination of orange juice, apple juice, brown sugar and honey. Then added the rub: raw sugar, brown sugar, but meg, ginger and cinnamon. Used as apple wood at 275 for 3 hours. Spent $29 for a ham that taste like those $70 hams.

Looks Great Smoke!!!

Next time get a cheap one that's not spiral sliced, pay $11 (99 cents per pound), for one that tastes better than a $70 Ham.

Thanks. The ham was $22, wasn't to bad a deal. The other $ was ingredients I will use on other smokes aswell. But I am going to pick up one of those real cheap ones this week when they get marked down and try the ham that was on Thursdays email for sammiches.

Good work, wow there are 70 dollar hams Jeeze I thought my 1500 into a show pig that ended up in my freezer was bad enough. But he is tasty even at 10 bucks a pound.lol

Yeah the HoneyBaked hams are around $8 lb. My wife said after tasting this one "we'll not be buying from them anymore".
