What's the best way to preserve Jalapenos? Can, dehydrate, freeze ....

We dry ours, can some, pickle and can some. We also vac pack and freeze them. If you vac pack them freeze them for a day the pack them.

We also smoke them then dry them, grind them. that turns the jalapeño into chipotle powder.

Looks like Wal-mart has Jalapenos for 88 cent/lb. We are moving back to Minot ND next week so I guess a cooler full of peppers are planned.

I guess it depends on what part of the country you are in. I plant a few every year and have more than enough for my Wife and I. Just got through planting 2 hot Jalapenos and 2 TAMU which are mild Jalapenos, also a couple of banana peppers, bell peppers and I'm waiting on the cherry pepper plants.  They all seem to do real good around here
