Hi all, I've viewed this site multiple times and finally thought, "why not join?"  I am just now getting into smoking and couldn't decide which one to purchase, so I built my own.  I smoked two pork butts last weekend (since I hear its a good/forgiving product to start with) and they turned out great!  The family loved it!  My wife is a big fan of brisket so I plan on smoking my first soon.  It looks like there is a lot of knowledgable members here.  I look forward to learning some great recipes.

Here are some pics of my smoker and pork butts...

Welcome to the forum and I must say-Beautiful job on the smoker! Those butts look great too. Fun stuff, isn't it? I have a few other hobbies, but this is really the only one I can do at home. Happy smokin', David.
