Mr. T's - Dutch Oven - Dump Cake

Ingredients:  cinnamon - fresh ground, cherry pie filling, 1/4 # butter, muffin mix with included wild blueberries.

Combine pie filling with the blueberries.

Mix the ingredients.

Pour muffin mix on top and evenly level it out.

Slice 1/4 pound of butter and place on muffin mix.

Sprinkle fresh ground cinnamon over all.

Couldn't resist.  Had to apply some heavy white apple smoke.

Bake in preheated 350°F - 177°C oven for 45 - 60 minutes or until bubbly.  If using briquettes, 15 on bottom 10 on top.

When cooled, scoop a good portion onto a plate and enjoy.

Did you really think I forgot the whipped topping and apple smoked ice cream?

Could this be a peek at heaven?

Looks Good! I love dump cakes, quick easy way to make a dessert that'll have everyone raving! I've even made them in the smoker a couple times.

Baking bread is not an easy task..... I'm working on my second lesson from my Master Baker Friend.... Even with directions I screw stuff up.... I quit keeping track of my screw ups...... took too much time.....

Looks MY-T-FINE Tom.....

Thanks, Md,  Thought I would put a little smoke to it just in case I didn't burn it in the oven.

nice....anything in CI is delish IMO. We chatted about bread previously....my last Dark Rye which I forgot to slash before oven insertion. I feel I'm getting better at it....Regards

It's the crumb that counts, Willie.

Looks Great Tom! We make this when we are camping!
Thanks, ds,  they are fun and easy as you well know, making them is a good way to get the youngsters interested into DO cooking.  Although barely noticeable, the added shot of smoke gives it the old campfire taste.
