I finally got my amns last week,,,finally got to use it with a rack of babyback ribs,,,,,,,oh my,,,no sauce needed,,i love my smoker with the pellets basket,,,,,set it and forget it,,lol,,,thanks for the help everyone,,

I used a rub,,,,,bbq sauce made it better too,,,lol,,,big hit here,,,very little leftovers,,lol

That's exactly what I do. My family prefers the wet style of ribs so I learned to apply a yellow mustard base to the ribs and to apply the rub over that. I brush on the BBQ sauce (either homemade or out of a jar) about 30 minutes before they're done. My family loved it and my son has told me several times the ribs were just the way he liked it. That's what I shoot for--to give 'em exactly what they want while still learning and perfecting my technique.
