I feel confident enough to give them a shot. So they were mustard and rubbed last night. Put them in around 11:15 smoker holding at 225_230. I'm using a mix of Apple and cherry wood. These were on sale at Winn dixie. Smells good already!
Thanks, I was planning on foiling, but have to step out for a couple hours so new plan is to spray with Apple cider vinegar before I go and let them ride.
Looking good you can try foil the next time to compare. You can also use a light oil to work as your glue or nothing the rub will stick well either way.need some beans under those Ribbies! Maybe some taters too a full smoker is a happy smoker:biggrin:
Thanks Gary, first shot. I didn't foil, just sprayed apple cider vinegar a couple times and basted with BBQ sauce the last hour. They were perfect bite off the bone. Very juicy. Kids loved them!
You know your really hooked hen you are in the middle of a smoke and already thinking about the next one. And have trouble going to sleep because you keep thinking of thing to smoke.
Still happens to me after 40 plus years of smoking
