Smoking Home Grown 35 Lb Apple Cider Turkey

This past year we raised two turkeys.  My son fried the Gander at Christmas while we were away on vacation.  The Gobbler dressed out at 35Lbs and in January I brined and smoked him with apple wood on my WSM 22.5".  He took up most of the smoker.  I poured Red's Apple Ale into the drip pan and periodically basted the turkey with the ale and turkey drippings.  I saw a video on youtube for smoking Apple Cider Turkey.  Here is a short video - I wish we had smell-o-vision --

I haven't been on here in a while as we are in the midst of moving.  I thought you would be interested in the youtube video where I got the idea for the Apple Cider Turkey --
