Hey everyone!

I just picked up a cheap used Smoke Hollow 26" vertical gas smoker. I am wanting to insulate it over the winter and will be using some of that insulation wrap used for hot water tanks. Anyways, my question is more along the lines of continuing to use the insulation over the summer.

The benefits I can see would be better temperature control (smaller fluctuations with wind) and it would be more efficient, so less gas used.

Are there any cons to doing this?

Okay thanks! Just curious, why not fiberglass? Will it melt?
