I bought a new WSM 22.5" smoker and used it for the first time today. (more on that in a near future thread).
So for my first smoke in it i considered ribs but the wife was in the mood to have beef so i am smoking a whole brisket and smoked two London broil steaks. This thread is about the London Broil steak so with no more banter i will start the Qview
Here are the steak marinading in a mix of EVOO, Worcestershire pepper garlic and a splash of red wine vinegar
Here they are right off the smoker at IT of 142 Degrees. my wife likes her meat medium so the sligghtly higher temp.
Here is the steaks with a good sear. i did the reverse sear method (smoke then sear) now let them rest!
Its rested and now time to a taste test (just to make sure its ok...hehe). Delicious it tastes so good with a nice smokey flavored steak! i wish i could upload the smell of how good it is!
