wood stove vs Cold Smoke Generators

Thread Starter

I'm in the process of building a large capacity smoker from a commercial freezer and want to know which way would be better to go. The smoker will be set up as both hot and cold.  I'm looking for advice which is better to use a small wood stove or a smoke generator like "smokedaddy".

If you want true cold smoke you would be better off with a generator. You could go with a couple of AMNPTS.

Happy smoken.

Smoke Daddy ... It requires a lot of cleaning to remove the creosote.... The AMNTS.... just use it... no creosote.....
