This weekend my fiancé and I tried it for the first time. We struggled getting the charcoal to stay lit, but after several attempts we managed to get adequate heat. We did two racks of spareribs for four and a half hours averaging 225 degrees. We were surprised at how often we had to add more charcoal to maintain heat. I'm sure we made many newbie errors. Potatoes and corn on the cob were added the last hour. The food all tasted good.
