Thanks WaterinHoleBrew,  for the point and compliment    I didn't need to spend a lot of money a big heavy duty slicer, this is the 609, had good ratings and after using it the first time I am happy with my choice. Fact is I started to change my mind a couple of time after I placed the order and opt for a larger and more heavy duty one, glad I stuck with this one. Stores nicely, easy to take apart and clean. Be slicing belly bacon next,

No problem Gary ! As far as the slicer, I couldn't agree with ya more.... That's the same one I have & we really like it, had it for two months now & it's done a fine job for us ! Thumbs Up

If I was going to slice on a daily basis and hours of it I would have gone with another model  took me about 10 min to slice you the CB and I'll be luck if I use it every couple of months so I think I made the right choice. Glad to hear you have the same one.
