My wife and I had several friends come visit for the Super Bowl, so I decided to throw a couple butts on my new OK Joe Longhorn.  I had done several before on my old propane smoker, but this was my first real cook on the offset. I did a lot of research on here about mods to make the smoker run more efficiently and I want to say a quick thanks to everybody that has contributed ideas in those forums. She performed beautifully. I created a ring of unlit RO lump in my firebox with some hickory and apple chunks, added a chimney of hot RO lump to the center of the ring, got to temp, adjusted the damper, and cruised for about 14 hours adding a log or two once an hour. I threw some wings, thighs, and legs on there with the butts because I had the room and the wings are always a hit (wasn't quick enough to get pictures of them before they were gone). I was out of town for work for a while, hence the delay in posting, but I'm proud to add my first real post to SMF. Enjoy!

Not sure why I can't get the pictures to upload in the correct orientation. Sorry about that. Thanks for lookin!

Love the bark on those shoulders. They look like they pulled really nicely too! I like how you packed a bunch of different things for a whole big spread.
