I'm hoping to pull the trigger on a Meadow Creek TS120 in the next couple of weeks. The smoker is pretty well outfitted, with stainless racks standard, CoA / VIN for the trailer and a bunch of other options standard, but there are a couple of options I'm not 100% sure about.

Live Smoke in the warming box... I'm getting the TS120 because it's more smoker than I need, so I've already anticipated growth needs. I don't really need the live smoke, but I could see it occasionally being nice. What do you guys think? Can't live without it? Never use it? This one is more of a preference.

Insulated Firebox... This is a big one. It'll add almost $700 to the price tag, but I know in the long run it will save me on fuel. Any thoughts on the difference? Has anyone used the same smoker with and without an insulated box that can comment on how much more fuel the non-insulated one actually uses?

Thanks.
