I am a virgin smoker residing in Perth, Western Australia. I original hail from London, UK where we didn't do too much BBQ.
Up until now I have only every used a gas grill and when looking to purchase a new grill (ended up purchasing a Webber Q) I discovered the possibilities of BBQ smoking.
Yesterday I brought home my bespoke offset vertical smoker. I intend on only using mangrove charcoal rather than brickettes or heat beads with fruit and Australian indigenous woods for smokey flavour.
Now I just have to learn to use the bloody thing. Looking forward to the tears and cheers as my learning experience progresses.
