Yeah you do! These Huli Huli patties would make a great Loco Moco. Add a piece of fried spam and an sunny side up egg, oh yeah! Kiawe Charcoal! Oh boy gonna have to keep my eyes peeled for that! Is it one of these brands:

The kiawe charcoal I got from wal-mart is the Kiawe Hawaii brand you have there from Lowes. It's everywhere here! I'd offer to ship some to you but the shipping would cost more than the charcoal. You're better off doing the way you are doing now: KBB and kiawe chunks. That's how I usually do it also.

A huli huli loco moco sounds good right now!

I did find some on Amazon, but the pirce wasn't great. Kind of like the coconut charcoal I have found on there too.

I'd go for a big bowl of Saimin this morning! the Kamuela Deli that was in Waimea had a nice bowl of Saimin. Their egg sandwich was great too. Not too many places that serve and egg sandwich with a sunny side up egg!

Thank you Gary! These are some tasty burgers. The huli huli would be good mixed in with beef or pork too.
