What kind of meat could one use maple for. I am looking for a hardwood option other than hickory and oak.

Maple works good with Pork, Bacon, you may want to try Pecan I did that 2 weeks ago and it is good.

Everything, pork, beef, turkey, chicken. Maple is a nice mild smoke.
