Gonna try ABT's for the first time this weekend for Super Bowl party. After reading some other posts it seems like indirect heat is the way to go, but If you have to go direct for a bit to crisp up the bacon will you have the dreaded bacon grease flair up's?

I used our electric smoker to make them. 225*, about 2 hours and the bacon was done.
 
Yeah my dad has an electric smoker that would be perfect for those. Plus I could get more on there than on my Egg
Don't forget, we all love pictures.
Only made 6 today, sorry, no after pictures.... The wife must have removed more of the vein than I did, mine were noticeably more zingy. Almost out of cream cheese, will be trying that French stuff shortly.
