Question for all you Texas out there...how much per pound are full packer briskets out there in the land of cattle? The other day i was curious how beef prices compare against the other  states? Here in Florida full packers can from from $4.20-$6/lb

Just Curious

Doug

About the same as your price in Florida   way to high.   I did catch pork butts on sale for $1.27 lb  stocked up.

Back before Thanksgiving I paid $2.79 a LB.

Right now in South Texas, Brisket, and BB ribs are each$3.89# and the St. Louie ribs are $3.69 #.  Butts were $1.77 but now back up to $2.00ish.  Chickens are still a buck a pound plus.

Hey I agree, just like with Gas, we have a refinery right here in Tyler, should be dirt cheap.  Our Milk here at the local Grocery store (which have their own Dairy possessing  sell milk for $4.39 a gal

Wally World $2.69 a gal.  Go figure
