Firsts "smoke" on Char-Griller pellet smoker

I do love pork chops, and so what better way to try my new pellet smoker...and to learn how to post pictures to the forum...than by smoking some center cut pork chops seasoned with lemon pepper?

In the interest of full disclosure, I did over cook these just a tad, but the flavor was awesome! I'm hooked on the ease of use of the pellet smoker and the flavor even the Char-Griller pellets gave the pork...and the burgers and the bone in rib eyes I did yesterday!

East of Rudy off of HYW 71.

I also worked in San Angelo in 2000-2002 dredging Lake Nasworthy.

Happy smoken.

Looks good.

You should get a lot of good food out of a pellet smoker.  I got one close to 2 years ago after 10+ years on a stick burner.  I still get a stronger smoke flavor out of the stick burner, but the ease and convenience of the pellet smoker makes it so much easier to cook that I use it all the time now.  (My stick burner is starting to feel neglected!)

A couple of tips:

1) get a brand of pellets that have a good mixture of bark and core wood - most of the flavor comes from the bark.

2) get an AMAZ'N tube or row device to add extra smoke

Good Luck and keep on smokin!

Nice looking mess of grub there, especially the beans. Just so happen to have a CG pellet pusher myself and find it a breeze to crank out a meal on and the price of it was pretty sweet compared to other smaller manufacturers.......Willie
