Well I accomplished my 1st smoke, ( baby back ribs ) .
prep : squeezed lemon on the rack before rubbing them with ,Daves Famous Rib Rub

my fire was highh at 350 then dropped to 300 through my smoke. I used cherry wood chips with charcoal . One hr straight then sprayed them with apple juice. Left them in for another hr before i took them out n rejuiced n wrapped in foil for another 30mins. Due to my high for they were done within 3hrs . Nice and tender and i believe i may have hit the Smoke ring . BBQ FINISH WITH STUBS SWEET SPICY BBQ SAUSE. overall the family loved them.

Looks good from here! Anything you weren't happy with? I really like that rub.

The fire was a bit too high for my 1st time.. based off the color i adjusted the 3-2-1 method to 2-1-1 . same concept just had to work around the time. I loved it, everyone loved them. Thanks for feedback. Only thing i would change would be my heat and also the eood chips i used.

Light less coals next tim.(sure you figured that out) What didn't you like about cherry? I love pecan/cherry mix with pork. If it was to strong a smoke cut back on how much you used or try chunks. How did the ABT's turn out my guess they were tasty also!

They look awesome, but I respect where your coming from.... I analyze every one of my smokes & what I could have done better ! I usually do my ribs at round 250*ish ! Yours looks way awesome though & bet they were tasty ! Thumbs Up You did not care for the taste of the cherry on them ? You thinking of another wood to use the next time ? Depending on the mood I'm in with ribs, I'll do hickory, pecan or apple ! Again, nice smoke ! Thumbs Up

250 is def the goal... a nice slow. the ABTs were awesome. Actually threw them in on the last hr of my smoke along with some chedder sausage links. The cherry fit awesome the Stubbs. Very sweet , finger lickin good i would say. il explore with the wood chunks next time .
