I just got my first electric smoker today, and I'm currently seasoning right this second. I purchased a mes30 generation 1. I also picked up an amnps to go with it. I did a lot of research on here, and got a lot of good info from you guys. I also have a natural gas Weber genesis, and started smoking with it, and got good at it, but it's a pain in the butt, so decided to up my game. I'm located in Atlanta, GA. My real name is Jeff. Can't wait to get to smoking. I think I'm going to try some ribs tonight. Anyway, I hope to get to your level soon.

Quick question...I'm using wood chips now. Do you guys recommend soaking them, or going dry? I have an amnps, and plan on using it next time, but was just curious.
