Hi everyone, I'm from middle Tennessee and I just bought a Excalibur Dehydrator, I'm looking to learn how to create amazing jerky and maybe one day be able to help the next new person. I would appreciate any advice you have to offer to make a truly great snack.

Thanks

Mark

this was a big help to me when I first started making jerky.....tips, techniques & recipes etc. I like my jerky very spicy so I also bump up the cayenne & crushed red peppers in the marinade & I don't wipe off......just drip dry & on the rack it goes. Use some cure & you can dehydrate at lower temps as opposed to the 160 & up recommended by most manufacturers. I want to dry the meat...not cook it. Welcome to the group...Willie
