First I picked up a little Horizon 16" Backyard smoker off of Craigslist, so I had to smoke something on it. Off to Bj's I went and got a 14 pound bottom round. This was also my first attempt at using charcoal briquettes. I am using apple chunks for smoke. Definitely like lump and tick burning better so far. The picture on the smoker is 3 hours in. I am going to pull it at an IT of 135, rest and slice thin for some pit beef sandwiches.
