Only one market nearby that I'm aware of that sells whole bellies, they order them upon request. The come three to a box, frozen, from IBP. Its $3.29/lb.

Thats in Virginia.

What are you paying in your neck of the woods? And are you getting them from a farm or a market?

Just got a whole belly for 2.59 a pound at a local grocery store. my favorite Butcher quoted me at 4.99 but that was for fully trimmed, so basically just what I would need for bacon. Only got about 8 pounds out of the 15 I coud use for bacon once all the skin and bones were removed. But it's not really loss, because the butcher at the supermarket cut me a decent rack of spares from it and I kept all the solid fat and skin for sausage and possibly pork rinds. I never throw anything away!

Here in Northern VA (outside the belt way), I’m paying  $3.99 for a whole belly…just got 2 (one 13 lbs. and the other 14.5 lbs.) fro an Asian Market….the other Asian market sells them for the same price but with the ribs attached….Whole foods and another small shop will sell for $5.99 a pound…other butcher shops are $8.99 to $12.99 a pound…Outside Winchester, VA…About a 125 mile round trip, I can get whole ones for $3.19 a pound….
