big bald BBQ rub, white or brown sugar?

Recipe in the book just says sugar, i assume they mean brown?

Should i put any unused portion in the freezer?

Use raw sugar, AKA turbinado sugar or demerara sugar. It does not burn as readily as white or brown sugar.

Already made it with brown, ill use raw next time. Thanks
