Just wanted to say "Happy New Year" everybody!  I couldn't have made it through this past year without you all.  Special thanks to everyone that I bugged the crap out of this year with all of my annoying smoking questions, sausage inquiries, sausage making equipment questions and everything else lol....

This was my first holiday season without my Jerry so this year end is a very sad one.  I am looking forward to a new chapter of my life in 2015.  I know Jerry and GOD will be watching over me.

Just so you guys and girls know................ I WILL be bugging you in 2015 - guess you're stuck with me.  Looking forward to sharing, trading food stories and lots of recipes with you all in the new year.......

Warm Blessings and Happy New Year !

Josie - "Your Smoking Sista from Las Vegas"

P.S. Don't forget to make a batch of black-eyed peas tomorrow.  I had my traditional New Year dinner today - Here's my dinner; slow cooked black-eyed peas, collard greens topped with pickled sweet onions and a olive, rice pilaf, oven roasted baby back ribs and my favorite libation.  This is the dinner Jerry and I would have every New Year Eve - he loved my "soul food" dinners!

My Sophie waiting patiently for her black-eyed peas!

Happy New Year to you too Josie! Hoppin John with venison sausage and ham with a side of greens for dinner tomorrow. Oh, and jalapeno  cornbread!

Happy New Years Josie! Hoping you have a fantastic year and can't wait to see all your fantastic smokes in 2015!
