Howdy! Thanks for the add. I'm new to the forum, but not to smoking. Dad taught my brother and I to smoke briskets as we were growing up in Houston. When he passed,I inherited his New Braunfels offset. I still use it today - and it's nearly 30 years old! But now the smoke goes into the N.C. air, thanks to 20 years in the Marines and a retirement here.
We're fixing to build a smokehouse in our backyard in March. Found y'all while searching designs. Can't wait to get started being a part of SMF!

Be blessed,
Buzzard

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cool and rainy day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.

Thanks everyone!  I think I'm going to like it here.  I've been taking a test flight around the forums today, and am loving what I'm finding!
