from Melbourne, Australia I moved to Las Vegas a couple of years ago


I own a gas grill and a 30" digital electric Masterbuilt smoker (controller on top).... i do plan on purchasing an offset smoker in around a year or so and also a kamado cooker to compliment what i have


Only one smoke so far (never smoked anything before), turned out OK imo, but nowhere close to what i want


I'm trying to keep everything as simple as possible (especially seasonings) for now as i'm learning and i feel this would be the best way to start


I've always wanted to go to texas for the bbq... and have just recently heard about franklin so that's on my bucket list!

Welcome to SMF ozsmoker!  Glad you're here and hooked on this amazing, delicious backyard creativity.  Definitely use the search feature and teach yourself everything you need to know to make better than restaurant quality Q.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
