I am a brand new smoker guy here! I am currently as typing this smoking my very first anything. I got a pork loin that I filleted and poured some home made apple pie filling in. Then I wrapped it with a decently tight bacon weave then poured some real maple syrup over it. It has been going for about 4.5 hours at 210* in a brand new Bradley Smoker that I just seasoned last night ;-) thanks for opening your arms to us noobs!!
