Kinda of a Chilly day here in East Texas Pun Intended
2 - cups water
2 - teaspoons paprika
1 or 2 teaspoons sugar
4 - teaspoons cumin
1 – tablespoon black pepper
1 – tablespoon Tony’s
3 - tablespoon dried onion flakes or (½ finely chopped onion)
1 - teaspoon garlic Powder
1 - teaspoon salt (more if you want) Kinda salt to taste
½ - cup chili powder (More if you like)
½ to 1 - teaspoon ground red pepper (depends on how hot you want it)
1 – Jalapeño pepper (Optional) Seeded and chopped
2 - tablespoons masa harina flour (Corn Flour)
¼ - cup hot water
and jalapeno pepper.
Th Then add paprika, cumin, onion, garlic powder, salt, sugar, chili powder, red pepper. black pepper and Tony's. Mix well
Add both cans of tomato sauce and water, again stirring well
Simmer for 30 - 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Dis Dissolve 2 tablespoons masa flour into ½ cup hot water. (Note:) this is for thickening ) You can substitute corn starch.
Add masa mixture to chili.
Simmer for another 30 – 45 min.
Some People add beans, Add them if you like, BUT THAT"S NOT REAL TEXAS CHILI !!!
You can throw in a couple more jalapeños while cooking if you want it really spicy

2 lbs - ground beef, ground for chili (or you can use ½ Chili grind and ½ regular grind) or 2 lbs
of any type good lean meat cut in very small pieces
2 - (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce2 - cups water
