Hello everyone.  I have always wanted to learn smoking/BBQing/grilling techniques but just never took the time.  My dad always took care of it but after he passed away last summer, I was tasked with preparing the Thanksgiving ham.  Fortunately, my mom had won an already smoked, spiral cut ham and I only had to put it in the oven and take it out several hours later.  With that said, now is as good a time as ever to learn what I should have long ago.  I am researching building a smoker and hope to get started on it after the holidays are over.  I could just go and buy one but that is just not my style.  I will have a lot of question but promise to search and read first.  Thanks and I am looking forward to making some new online friends.
