I like to BBQ, but it tends to be a hit or miss. I was at someone's house and they had a smoker and the meat came out terrific with such little interaction. I was hooked. After some research I bought a Traeger smoker. I love it. My problem is that I know nothing about smoking. I'm happy that I found this site. I'm sure I will be asking a lot of questions and to all of you I appreciate any help you can give me.

I'm supposed to tell where I'm located. I'm in California, so I don't have to contend with snow related problems.

Thank you to SmokingMeatForums.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from a damp, overcast day in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
