Hello fellow smokers! Anyone smoking in NE Ohio.

Hello all, I am new to smoking! So far, this site has very good information I hope I can learn with your help.

I do have a question, I just bought a cast iron wood burner and I want to make a rustic wood smoke box. Should I build a vertical outhouse style and run the smoke straight up through it or a smaller side box and pipe the smoke in from the side.
